Refresher training is a requirement for eligibility for the WorkSafeBC Certificate of Recognition (COR) program and SAFE Companies. It must be taken within three years of the first successful audit and every three years after that. Click here for more information. While it is the Auditor’s responsibility to ensure this requirement is met, SAFE Companies will advise of various options. Alternatives may be discussed with SAFE Companies program staff.
BASE Internal or External Auditor training is a prerequisite for this course. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for meeting the requirements.

The learning outcomes will vary depending on the options selected to meet the seven-hour training requirement.
